CLONCURRY RODEO GROUND RULES
1. Day Members nominations will only be taken from 13th -28th July after 6pm & fees to be PAID IN FULL by 9pm 28th July 2019 to the Secretary. Day Members entries will be accepted for 3 x Open Rough stock events under the APRA Rule that the competitor must have won more $1000 in that event within APRA/ABCRA rodeos.
2. There will be NO access into the grounds for competitors camping at the Cloncurry Equestrian Centre until Monday 29th July 2019.
3. Due to council laws all dogs to be tied up at all times, any dogs found loose within the
Recreation grounds will be impounded immediately.
4. All plugs in electrical equipment that you are using must have a certified
test and tag displayed on them.
5. Areas defined as NO PARKING are to be respected as such.
6. Strictly No Access for vehicles or horses is allowed within the Racecourse Complex.
7. Horse areas are to be no larger than the designated camp site
8. Holding of camping areas for other competitors is STRICTLY
PROHIBITED.
9. Camping fee is $20 per site for the week which will be collected upon arrival and then you will be given the allocated camp site number.
10. All Junior competitors must wear their helmets both in & outside of the arena whilst on their horse.
11.Strict western dress code ruling applies both in the arena & behind the rough stock chutes & timed event box, fines will be applied if this ruling is not adhered to.
12. The consumption of alcohol in or around the timed event area, backyards or bucking chutes is strictly prohibited, on the spot fines will apply.
13. Winners must be present for all Trophy Presentations during the rodeo
& all payouts will be done after the completion of events on Saturday
night and your patience would be appreciated.
14. Add back all open events $100.
15. Junior team ropers must partner with an open or permit member in J-TR.
16. Ken Coleman Memorial Chute Out will be the top 4 scores from the Open Saddle Bronc Ride, then 2 wild cards will be drawn from the remaining Saddle Bronc competitors, $1000 and winner take all. It is a Non Points Event.
17. Curry Merry Muster Festival committee have Zero Tolerance for any
abusive behaviour from any APRA members in regards to Camping Sites, Horse Areas or anything else associated with the festival.
Penalties and Fines
22.1 Turnout fine of $50 if in performance or slack and you do not notify Central Entry Office or Rodeo Secretary.
22.2 Turnout fine of $10 if in performance and you do notify the Central Entry Office by 5pm the Thursday prior to the Rodeo.
22.3 Turnout in slack and notify the Central Entry Office before 5pm on the Thursday before the Rodeo. No fine.
22.4 All turnouts required to pay entry fees. all fees and fines to be paid prior to competitor being permitted to enter further rodeos.
22.5 Unfinancial Members or Members on the Suspended Members List cannot compete as a Day Members.
22.6 A competitor must have a medical certificate to cancel out of a Rodeo after the closing date for entries. A competitor who cancels on a medical certificate, cannot compete for ten (10) days from the date of the Rodeo from which he cancelled and must supply a medical release.
22.7 Competitors are only allowed 3 medicals and 3 visual turn outs in each Rodeo year.
22.8 When a competitor visually turns out or Medicals out of a Rodeo he only receives his added money back. Committee levy is retained by the committee and administration levy must be paid to head office.
