MARSHALL A FAVOURITE FOR ROSS RODEO

DANIELLE Marshall will be one of the riders to watch in the Ross Rodeo on Saturday in Tasmania.

There are 98 nominations for the rodeo in open and junior events.

Marshall from Natone was the one Tasmanian qualifier for last year’s Australian Professional Rodeo Association National Finals in Warwick in Queensland and has nominated for the Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping and Team Roping at the Ross Rodeo.

She will compete against the best men in roping ranks in Tasmania in Team Roping.

Ty King from Penguin will be one of the favourites in rough stock events competing in the Open and 2nd Division Saddle Bronc and the Open Bareback.

There will be rodeos at Ross, Lillico and Powranna on successive Saturdays this month in Tasmania.

Riders will be going for Championships Points at Ross on Saturday in the rush for top-15 positions and qualification for the next National Finals in Warwick in October.

Ross Rodeo will be held at Ross Recreational Oval. Action will start from 12pm
