NON-STANDARD EVENTS AT RODEOS
NON-STANDARD EVENTS AT RODEOS
All rodeos must go through an approval process. For a rodeo application to be approved, each committee fills in a form and are asked to stipulate the standard events they wish to run along with a list of approved non-standard events. These non-standard events have been approved by the Board of Directors and the APRA’s insurers. If there is an event a committee wishes to run not on the approved list there is an application form that must be filled out seeking approval. Is it vital that any non-standard events are declared, and go through the appropriate risk management review. Non-disclosure of events run at rodeos will jeopardise rodeo affiliation which may leave a committee and its event unaffiliated and uninsured.
