2020 SEASON UPDATE
2020 UPDATE | After much consideration and significant consultation the Board have reached a decision on the 2020 Season.
SENIORS
• The 2020 season has ended and the current Pro Tour leaders will be crowned the 2020 Pro Tour Champions and will receive buckles.
• The 2021 season will run as planned from 1 October 2020 to 30 August 2021 and the 2021 Pro Tour Champions crowned at the completion of that season. All competitors will start the 2021 Pro Tour season with a $0 balance.
• The current 2020 standings will carry over into the 2021 season for the sake of the National Finals only and the top 15 in each event on 30 August 2021 will compete at the 2021 National Finals Rodeo and start with the 2 years worth of earnings as points.
• There will be 2021 Pro Tour standings and 2020-2021 standings to determine the National Finals qualifiers only.
• There will be no National Finals Rodeo held for 2020.
ROOKIES
• The 2020 Rookie standings will carry over into the 2021 season and Rookie Champions crowned at the completion of the 2021 season.
• Members whose Rookie Year was to be 2021 will now be 2022.
JUNIORS
• Members will be updated on the likelihood of a 2020 Junior National Finals Rodeo once state restrictions lift.
• Once rodeos are able to resume without state restrictions we will announce particulars on Junior Membership renewals and season dates.
