APRA 2025 Ariat National Finals Rodeo, White Park Equine Complex, Scone Nov 27-29, 2025.
The APRA 2025 Ariat NFR is the pinnacle event of the rodeo calendar hosted by APRA each year, to determine the Australian Champions. This will involve a team of photographers and videographers, to highlight and promote the event, during and post event across digital and traditional platforms.
APRA are seeking expressions of interest for the following media positions for the National Finals Rodeo. You’re welcome to express interest in multiple positions for our consideration, but due to the requirements of each position, photographers/videographers won’t be able to hold more than one position:
- Arena Photographer
- Colour/General Event Photographer/Videographer
- Socials Photographer/Videographer
- Branding/editorial Photographer/Videographer
Licensing requirements
APRA requires all assets to be shared with APRA via Dropbox within the agreed timeframes.
APRA also requires a selection of NFR imagery and video to have an extended license, quantity to be discussed based on position. The extended license is to allow APRA to share selected imagery/video with sponsors within the scope of sponsorship agreements. APRA is open to discuss the usage requirements to share imagery/video with sponsors, including no additional editing, providing credits for use and similar.
Output requirements
The below is an overview of the outputs anticipated from the APRA 2025 Ariat NFR, to be captured across the media team. More detailed individual briefings will be provided to successful media team members prior to the event.
Arena Action – Minimum Shots needed –
- 1 to 3 x every competitor in every event, of all 4 rounds of NFR (where possible) (min. 480 images)
- 1 to 3 x officials/judges/event committee members
- 1 to 3 x crowds viewing/gathering
- 1 to 3 x each competitor when doing a victory hotlap.
Video:
- 8 x 60 seconds total across multiple clips, for each of the 8 rodeo events
General Event and Colour – Minimum Shots needed across media team –
- 1 x every champion trophy saddle
- 1 x every buckle
- 3 to 5 x Grand Entry
- 3 to 5 x Ariat branding (flag, clothing label/branding, competitors/athletes wearing Ariat)
- 3 to 5 x Circle L branding (flag, hat labels/branding, competitors/athletes wearing Circle L)
- 1 x prezo photo of each Aus Champ, in-front of media wall w/ trophy saddle- After closing ceremony
- 3 to 5 x Ariat garments being worn by event officials/committee
- 3 to 5 x Country Labelled Pick Up Men images
- 1 x signage/branding image of chute gates
- 1 x event/competitor group photo for each rodeo event – Before Round 1 on Thursday
- 1 x each official group – Judges, Arena Team, Stock Team etc
- 1 to 3 x emotive/event non-specific shots
Video:
- Short clips of Trophy saddles and Champion Buckles
- Grand Entry
- A variety of short 3-10 sec emotive event non-specific shots to use in 2026
- A variety of short 3-10 sec crowd shots both at a distance and mid-type shots
Competitors – Shots needed across media team –
- 5 to 10 x competitors across each rodeo event preparing to compete, behind the scenes etc
Video:
- 2 to 3 x short clips 3-10 seconds of each rodeo event preparing to compete, behind the scenes and similar
DEADLINES, SUPPLY + PROCESS
- Minimum of 1 action image of each round winner for each event for all four rounds to be posted on Facebook after each round acknowledging sponsors of that event.
- Presentation/Australian Champion images required within 24 hours for APRA to use for promotional purposes
- All images to be supplied in high res digitally via Dropbox within 2 weeks.
- All agreed upon video files to be supplied in high res digitally via Dropbox within 3 weeks.
CONDITIONS OF USE
- APRA to receive license for APRA usage of image and video across digital and traditional platforms.
- APRA to receive extended licensing for a selection of images and video to share with sponsors – quantity to be discussed with each position and remuneration to reflect.
- APRA retains the right to not publish or utilise images that do not comply with APRA guidelines or compromise the integrity of the sport and/or the reputation of the APRA and associated partner/sponsor brands
- APRA retains the right to request the photographer remove from public view, on any media platforms, any images they deem non-compliant with APRA guidelines or compromise the integrity of the sport and/or the reputation of the APRA and associated partner/sponsor brands

APRA and the NFR event have a range of sponsors, that are to be reflected throughout the event. A final list will be provided in the lead up to the event.

- Accommodation for Thursday through to Saturday night (checking out Sunday 30th)
- Competition draws prior to each round
- Round winners of each round
- Standing leaders and updates after each round
- Admin access to APRA Facebook page
- Logos of each sponsor for each event
- Arm bands for access to the event all weekend
- Payment of photographer fees after submission of full invoice for your services
