Premier State Rodeo Circuit Rules

Rough Stock Event

1.     1. Open to money won. 2^nd Div and junior points

2.     2. Cross out the names of any PSC competitors who did not have a scoring ride.

3.     3. Allocate points to remaining PSC competitors as follows:

Highest Score – 4 points

Second highest score – 3 points

Third highest score – 2 points

Fourth highest score – 1 point etc.

If any of the above place at the rodeo they received a bonus of half points again, total score is then as follows:

1^ST – 6 points

2^nd – 4.5 points

3^rd – 3 points

4^th 1.5 points

To how many places the event pays.

 

Roping and Steer Wrestling

4.     4. Cross out all PSC competitors who did not record a time.

5.     5. Allocate, points as in 4 above.

 

Team Roping

6.     6. Check that all competitors have their partner’s name recorded.

7.      7. Check both headers and heelers of all team for PSC competitors.

8.     8. Check out all PSC competitors who did not record a time.

8.5  8.5 pen Add all monies won.

9.     9. Allocate points to remaining PSC competitors as follows: Example of paying out 4 ways.

1^st Team – 4 points each to both members

2^nd Team – 3 points each to both members

3^rd Team – 2 points each to both members

4^th Team – 1 points each to both members

If any of the above place at the rodeo.

They receive a bonus each of half points again, total score is then as follows:

1^st 6 points, 2^nd 4.5 3^rd 3 4^th 1.5 and so on.

1.    10. Barrel race. 

11.  11. Allocate points to fastest four PSC competitors as in 4 above, on as many as event paid.

Second Division Members

Allocate open points for all second division members first.

Rough Stock Events

12. 12. Second division points are allocated from second division events. If there is no second division event on the rodeo program they are allocated as follows:

13. 13. Go through one judge’s sheet again, this time crossing out the names of all open PSC competitors.

14. 14. Allocate points on a 4, 3, 2, 1 basis to the four highest scoring second division PSC competitors in each event. If any placed in the event, they receive a bonus of half points again giving a total of 6, 4.5, 3, and 1.5.

15. 15. NOTE – If there is a second division event on the rodeo program and a permit rider choose to enter the open event.

Instead, then he does not receive second division points from the open event.

 

Time Events and Barrels

16.  16. Allocate points as per 14 and 15 above.

All round 2^nd Div

17.  17. All round 2^nd Div standings are determined by adding all open and second division points together.

18. 18. All round 2^nd Div awards cannot be won more than once by the same person.
