NOTES: 1. Add back all open events $100
2. Rodeo will be held in support of Huntington's Disease Tasmania. All competitors please wear blue or purple shirts (huntington colours) in support. 
3. Compulsory rodeo briefing for all competitors and rodeo personnel - 3:15pm, secretaryies box. Will inclue group photo in front of bucking chutes in blue and purle attire for promotional purposes. Please make yourself available. 
4. Events may be ran over 2 rounds and/or a final depending on entry numbers. 
5. Day members accepted through Central Entries only. 
6. All persons listed on Grand Entry list at Sectraries box must be available for Grand Entry by 3:50pm. 
7. All event winners must be available for lap on honour at immediate completion of each event. Winners to present at Timed Event box.
8. Bob Berg trophy buckles present to 1. Rodeo Champion (male or female, highest money earner), 2. Junior High Point Champion (male or female, highest points), 3. Rodeo Incentive (Judges Choice) at end of event. Please make yourself available for presentation at immediate conclusion of event. 
9. Celebrity dress-up Barrel Race will be held for competing members only (no day members). Limited to 15 entries. Open to male and female competitors. Entries to Tracey King by Saturaday 15 January 2023. $100 entry fee, 3 place payout (jackpot) phone: 0400917417.
10. Novice Horse Barrel Race will be held (no day members) limited to 15 entries. Entries to Tracey King by Saturday 14 January 2023 phone: 0400917417.
11. Local barrel race will be held for local, non-member competitors only. $35 entry fee plus $29.70 day membership. Entries to Tracey King by Saturday the 14 January 2023.
12. Local senior steer ride will be held for local, non-member competitors only. $35 entry fee plus $29.70 Day Membership. Entries to Tracey King by Saturday 14 January 2023.
13. Designated warm-up area is cutting arena at western end of facility. 
14. Competitor only parking in campdraft arena. No other vehicles. 
15. Be mindful of space in competitor area, park snuggly and erect small yards at rear of vehicles - no erection of large yards until completion of event. 
16. Strictly NO BYO - vehicle searches, alchohol will be confiscated and not returned. 
17. No dogs permitted at Batten Park. 
18. No campfires permitted. 
19. No glass permiited on grounds. 
20. Please follow all signage and direction of rodeo personnel. 
21. If you are not a competitor of volunteer worker, you do not have a rodeo admission pass, or you are not the companion or an open competitor, you will be required to pay admission fees at the gate - no exceptions. Any discrepancies, please pay your fee, request a receipt and present to the rodeo secretary for reimbursement if deemed applicable. 
22. COVID safe event as per government restrictions at time of event. Please monitor Island Rodeo Circuit Facebook page for updated information. 
23. Please collect your rubbish and clean-up your site on departure. 
24. Reduced committee levy. 
25. The newly elected Ulverstone Rodeo Committee are excited to be returning this event to the professional rodeo calendar after a 3-year hiatus. We look forward to your support and look forward to seeing you there.

Penalties and Fines

22.1 Turnout fine of $50 if in performance or slack and you do not notify Central Entry Office or Rodeo Secretary.

22.2 Turnout fine of $10 if in performance and you do notify the Central Entry Office by 5pm the Thursday prior to the Rodeo.

22.3 Turnout in slack and notify the Central Entry Office before 5pm on the Thursday before the Rodeo. No fine.

22.4 All turnouts required to pay entry fees. all fees and fines to be paid prior to competitor being permitted to enter further rodeos.

22.5 Unfinancial Members or Members on the Suspended Members List cannot compete as a Day Members.

22.6 A competitor must have a medical certificate to cancel out of a Rodeo after the closing date for entries. A competitor who cancels on a medical certificate, cannot compete for ten (10) days from the date of the Rodeo from which he cancelled and must supply a medical release.

22.7 Competitors are only allowed 3 medicals and 3 visual turn outs in each Rodeo year.

22.8 When a competitor visually turns out or Medicals out of a Rodeo he only receives his added money back. Committee levy is retained by the committee and administration levy must be paid to head office.
