The Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) is excited to announce a call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the provision of National Champion Prize Saddles for the upcoming 2026 National Finals Rodeo. We are seeking quality suppliers to contribute to this prestigious event, ensuring our champions are rewarded with exceptional saddles that reflect their outstanding accomplishments.

  • 2 x All Round Cowboy and Cowgirl Saddles These saddles should embody the versatility and skill of our all-around champions.
  • 9 x Australian Champion Saddles Each event will require a dedicated saddle, including two for the team roping category, to celebrate the unique skills and triumphs of our champions.
  • 2 x All Round Rookie Cowboy and Cowgirl Saddles These saddles should inspire and encourage the next generation of rodeo talent.

Important Note: All saddles must be fully functional and suitable for use, not merely decorative “trophy” saddles.

All saddles must be delivered by no later than 2nd October 2026. Timely delivery is crucial to ensure all preparations are in place for the National Finals Rodeo.

This is a unique chance to gain exposure and recognition within the rodeo community and beyond.

Please note, Trophy saddle tenders and sponsorship are treated as separate agreements. If you’re interested in Sponsorship, please see Sponsorship Opportunities dropdown above.

Submission of Interest

Interested parties should submit their Expression of Interest, detailing their capability to fulfill the requirements. Please include information on your experience, craftsmanship, and any previous involvement in similar events.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and working together to honour our rodeo champions with the best possible prize saddles.

For further information or to submit your Tender by 1st March, please contact the APRA NFR Coordinator – Abbie Smith abbie@prorodeo.com.au
